Billy Kennedy spent his formative musical years as frontman for the London based blues/rock band Godot. Later he moved back to his native Cork where he formed indie pop merchants The Horsies. The band scored radio hits with their single 'Being There' and an acoustic cover of Cyndi Laupers True Colours. Kennedy released his debut solo album 'This Old Life' to much acclaim in 2012. The Evening Echo described his songs as having 'a gentle poetic sensibility. Upbeat pop fused with Americana.'

Since that release he has been in much demand producing and recording albums for other artists including Slovenian songstress Branka Bozic. Last year he played gigs in Slovenia and Bosnia as well as a sold out show in the wonderful setting of Camden Fort Meagher. March 2020 will see the release of his second studio album 'Rescue Dogs'.

Kennedy will be joined at the Inkwell by his band of longtime collaborators Cormac O Connor on Bass, Trevor Kiely on Drums, and the very talented Fiona Kennedy on vocals and guitar.

StoryBoy hail from Crosshaven, Co Cork.Their music style hops seamlessly between genres and the EP is crafted in a vintage/contemporary fusion with killer hooks and melodies to die for.
