Cormac Begley is a solo bass, baritone, treble and piccolo concertina player from a West-Kerry musical family. He is one of the leading lights within Irish traditional music and plays in a range of collaborations with artists including Liam O Connor, Martin Hayes, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Rushad Eggleston, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Lisa O’Neil and Ye Vagabonds. He is the founder of the Airt Residential School in west Kerry and the award winning Tunes in the Church live concert series in Galway. He has recorded two series of Slí na mBeaglaoich for RTE/TG4 alongside hie father Breanndán and runs outdoor concerts in secret locations throughout Ireland from his beloved campervan, the ‘Beauty’. He Cormac is the musical director for the award winning production Mám, directed by Micheal Keegan Dolan, which features in Pat Collin’s latest documentary, ‘The Dance‘. Cormac is releasing his second solo album, entitled ‘”B”, in May/June 2022, an album featuring only the Bass concertina.

Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh makes music on a 10-string fiddle called the hardanger d’amore. He has performed on some of the most venerable stages in the world, including the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall. His eighteen recordings to date see the artist continue to explore the region where traditional music begins to disintegrate. Caoimhín performs as a solo artist, yet is also widely known through his collaborative work, including groups The Gloaming and This is How we Fly, and duos with Dan Trueman, Thomas Bartlett, Garth Knox, Mick O’Brien and Brendan Begley. He has also performed with artists such as Laurie Anderson, Vincent Moon and Amiina and  made music for theatre and film. His is a singular talent and a unique vision.
